Recent times have seen an unprecedented pace of change in the technological options that are available to schools, as well as many changes in the Computing Curriculum and the way this content can be delivered. This provides opportunities for schools to consider their choices for how to best support learning and teaching in their setting.

This provides opportunities for schools to consider their choices for how to best support learning and teaching in their setting.
We aim to help schools maximise the impact of technology on learning and teaching by providing a range of services to support and advise schools. We also support schools with the teaching of Computing in order to ensure staff are best placed to teach these essential 21st Century skills.

A range of consultancy and training courses to enable staff to use ICT effectively
Planning and delivering CPD combined with team teaching to develop staff skills
Advice on hardware and software options to support learning and teaching along with any training required
Computing Lead support to support their development and offer advice in areas such as the Computing Curriculum, Remote Learning, Action Planning and Assessment.
Support with enabling and embedding remote learning policies and supporting staff with training and preparing resources
Development of a progressive computing scheme of work or support for a commercial scheme of work such as Purplemash or Switched on Computing
Teaching sessions where we either lead or support teachers in lessons with either a Computing or Technology focus
Computing and Robotics workshops to support the teaching of Computing
A termly EdTech Update to provide Computing Leaders and staff informed of the latest developments in Education Technology
Loan sets of Chromebooks available for schools for a half term on a ‘try before you buy’ basis
